Recycling is a complex task and requires meticulous preparation. Before the start of each project, the aircraft is handled by our staff trained to perform decontamination work and prepare the airframe for recycling.

Before recycling, the following tasks will be performed:

  • Remaining fuel is drained, vacuumed, and recycled;
  • Fuel tanks are vented;
  • Hydraulic fluids are removed and recycled;
  • Radioactive metals are removed and recycled;
  • The cabin and cargo holds are fully dismantled to remove insulation wool;
  • Neon tubes, batteries, etc. are recycled.

Whether the aircraft recycling process takes place at our Mirabel site or elsewhere in the world, we ensure the site is secured against debris (FOD), and that the site is cleaned up once the dismantling and recycling operation is complete.

With a mission to be an eco-responsible company and promote sustainable recycling, Dynajet is constantly working to find solutions to improve its processes and give a second life to the vast majority of dismantled or recycled components in this direction. Our approach complies with Canadian environmental standards, airport regulations, and aircraft manufacturer specifications.
